I was intrigued when I heard the floor of R-2508 started at FL200, so I went searching for it knowing the route Jason was talking about. Both the controller and Jason call it R2508 but the last time he calls it R2505 which looks to be the correct chink of airspace Jason needs to transition.

So I'm curious if there is an R2508 and where it may be as I can't find it and were you aware of the mismatched numbers during the flight?

Ron

Ron,

Thanks for pointing this out. I'm looking into it ...

It's difficult to find on 'Air Charts' ... if anybody has a Las Vegas Sectional ... this is where it will likely be depicted.

I was referencing it through the Perspective (G1000) in the aircraft.

It is a large Restricted area that encompasses multiple MOA's and R-2505

Jason

I looked on the side panel for the associated info and that number (R2508) doesn't show up. I'm just curious where it is as I've flown that route. I should point out I'm using skyvector.com to look at the sectional. Those should be accurate, but if not it'd be nice to know.

It's depicted on the H-4 chart, with the "R-2508" text Southwest of FURNY and North of R-2505.
