i calculate W&B everytime im in a situation that im not used to. after about 500 hrs of instrucitng in 172s, im fairly confident that two people in the front seat are going to be within W&B limits. now throw a big guy in the back and some bags and out comes the calculator.

last weekend had a guy want a ride in the back of the super cub while towing gliders. we hardly ever carry passengers. out came the calculator.
