Our Garmin 396 with satellite weather radar proved to be a big hit on our trip to Clermont County (I69 - home to Sporty's) and back (KPVB). Our 182 is going down there to get a new interior this summer, we were picking out colors on this trip. On the way home we ran into some developing storms. The part we flew through was only showing up on the second level of green, however we did get shaked and rattled around quite a bit. It definately was nice to have a picture of what was going on ahead of us and an idea of where to divert if need be. Definately a great investment! Take a look at the picture...this was just before we entered into the thick of things!

Makes for a great addition/backup to the Garmin 530

If you ever have the chance, I69 makes for a great cross country destination for those in the midwest. You get a little chance to play with Class B as well!
