Hi guys,

I hold a Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) PPL which entitles me to fly (with minor exceptions) all across Europe. I would like to know what do I need to do to fly in the USA with this license.

Regards

Quite truthfully, I don't know exactly what you would have to do here to fly. Because of 9/11, there are more restrictions that exist for foreign citizens. What kind of flying to you want to do? Professionally or for recreation? If you want to take lessons, you must first get TSA clearance. Go to their website for further information.

To get the most accurate information, I would go straight to the FAA to get details so you don't waste your time/$$.
