I surfed and found this video from an airshow.

I don't know anything about aerobatics, but it looked to me like he stopped for too long at the top of the loop, the tried to pull it out and nearly belly stalled into the ground. The most amazing thing was that once he got back in the air, he did another aileron roll.

Perhaps that was to get some blood into his head and redistribute the load that he had undoubtedly just dropped in his trousers!
