The FAA released on the 28th of October, a newly designed coding system for the written test. If you remember from before, when you answered a question wrong, they would give you a code for the question-which would very broadly include the subject area you were "deficient" in. Well, they have updated these codes to be pretty specific which hopefully will help students focus on the areas with more intent.
Perhaps this is the beginning of updating the written knowledge test? Some are out of date...and there are certainly on current technology that need some attention.
