For listing and selling an airplane on the web, what is the best option?

I've looked at Controller.com, TradeaPlane.com, and they are both "great" and have sold airplanes in only 3 days, tops!

So, does anyone here have real-world experience in either buying or selling an aircraft online?

Well, I'm in the process of buying an airplane and have several choices among those services you listed. Another is ASO.com, although I think those tend to be more dealer listings.

But from a buyers perspective, things are pretty good. (Which means not so good for the sellers.) There are several planes I've been watching for a month or more, and they don't seem to be getting snapped up. I'm going on a honeymoon next week, and will get serious about the buying process when I return and I expect there to be some good planes to choose from.

Now, if you're selling a nice, reasonably low-time (TTAF and TSMOH) Piper Warrior II or Archer II, maybe we should talk!

Sorry....it's just a C172K....with Garmin430 GPS....I suppose that's more and more standard these days. Thanks for the info.

I have been looking for a plane for the last year. I like three pages...Trade-A-Plane, Barnstormers.com, and one that is oriented to Alaska aviation classified ads.
