So how'd it go?

I was looking at the charts for NE IA the other day because I was joking about flying to a high school reunion near West Union. Bit of a stretch to fly my Warrior from KOAK to 3Y2. Probably cost less in time and money to do a commercial flight to KCID and then find a rental plane nearby.

Marty,
ISU Grad :P

oh we had a good time. a friend from pilotsofamerica.com met us there and we had supper at a really great steakhouse across the road from the airport. a gas station (ethanol free) was a semi short walk down the road. student had a nice sunset flight up and night flight back. we managed to find the home airport.

currently an ISU student - Dec. 08 Aerospace Engineering
