Hi,
I'm finishing up my Commercial right now and hope to be working on my CFI this summer. I was wondering about the need to take the tests for my BGI, AGI and IGI. My goal is to become a CFI, CFII and MEI. Job goals are to flight instruct part time. Since a CFI can give ground instruction is there any benefit to having my ground instructor certificates?
Thanks,
Paul

The only reason I got the AGI was because it was a requirement to get the Gold Seal. Other than that I see no reason to do it if you are a CFI.
