Im a 30hr+ student who flies at least once a week and with the lack of daylight after work, Im down to flying on Sat. I fly out of KUUV near St'Louis MO and the weather has not been flying friendly. Past two Sat been grounded. While I appreciate the fact I able to do ground school on those days. I getting the feeling Im going to lose a bit of the "feel-4-it" when I able to get back...
Just wondering what everyone else does to stay sharp!! :)

When grounded, besides reading everything aviation related I can find, I like to log some time on MS Flight Sim. No, it is not just like flying. But, it is good for going through and practicing procedures. I like to set up a x-country between areas I've never been to before. MS-FSX is actually pretty cool for practicing flight planning with dead reckoning and using pilotage to find land marks. There are tons of great aviation podcasts too!

Ditto on the MS Flight Sim!

Also, review your last lesson and preview your next one.
